When we bought Penny Lane we floated a private company – Caromel Holdings P/L which was the business vehicle of the shop and eventually our super fund.

We ran Penny Lane for seven years – it was by far our most successful venture. In the first year it turned over $60,000 (up from $50,000 by the previous owner). After three years it was tracking in excess of $250,000 per year.
